The Plastics Make it Possible® exhibit at the Philadelphia International Flower Show, shows how innovations in plastics fuel the imagination and allow us to design and create functional, stylish, and environmentally-friendly outdoor and home spaces.

The hit of this year’s Philadelphia International Flower Show? Bright pink plastic elephant watering cans, whimsically incorporated into the Plastics Make it Possible® exhibition space, which showcased how innovative plastic products help create beautiful outdoor spaces.

One of the trends on display at this year’s International Flower Show in Philadelphia was container gardening, as seen with this plastic container on display in the Plastics Make it Possible® exhibition space.

The Arc du Triomphe comes to life in a whimsical recreation in plastics that will be recycled after use at the Philadelphia International Flower Show.

When it comes to gardening, “being green” is not only about producing
beautiful flowers; it’s about being conscious of the choices we make
in everyday living. By remembering to recycle, all of us can furnish
valuable materials that can be used to create new products such as
decking, benches, vertical gardens, flower pots, bird houses, furniture –
so much more than you realize – diverting valuable material from
the waste stream. Plastics Make it Possible®, an initiative sponsored
by the plastics industries of the American Chemistry Council, is
showcasing how innovations in plastics fuel the imagination
and allow us to design and create functional, stylish, and
environmentally-friendly outdoor and home spaces.
