GenArt New Garde
The newest of Gen Art’s fashion programs, New Garde is a fashion presentation featuring the collections of three emerging designers in separate standing installations. Live models wearing the designs are staged in a unique vignette created by the designer, while industry and audience get an upclose and intimate view of the designer’s vision.
WesFeld is the winner of the Plastics Make It PossibleSM national design competition. This consumer-driven design competition featured online voting and received over 160 womenswear designer submissions and over 15,000 votes. WesFeld receive a $10,000 grant as the competition’s winner.
EVENING’S HOST:
Molly Sims came to prominence as the Host of MTV ’s “House of Style” in 2000. She then graced Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for five years in the new century, has appeared in Victoria Secret’s Fashion Shows and was a lead on NBC’s “Vegas” during its five year run.
